Payment Terms
Deposit
A deposit of 50% per person is required to secure your place on the adventure and should be submitted with your completed booking form. On receipt, a booking confirmation and receipt will be issued; confirming your place on the adventure showing the date your balance becomes due. Adventures booked within 60 days will require payment in full at the time of booking.
Balance of Payment
Whenever possible communication will be carried out by email and we will send the invoice for the balance payment no later than 60 days prior to departure. Late payment may result in the loss of your deposit and cancellation of your adventure.
Surcharges
Circumstances beyond our control may dictate an increase in the cost of your adventure. Any increase less than 2% of the published price will be absorbed within the original price, however, any increase over 2% we may need to add to the final invoice.
Cancellation Policy
What happens if I need to cancel?
All cancellations must be emailed outlining your cancellation reasons and following terms apply to your payment and how we deal with it:

We only consider cancellations outside the 60 days prior to your departure date

Loss of full deposit unless cancellation is on medical grounds, in which case we will require proof in the form of a note from your doctor.

You may transfer your deposit to another adventure within a 14-month period or at our discretion.

In the event of you cancelling that adventure, you will lose your deposit.

You may transfer your booking to another person; however, you will be liable for any administration costs and will be responsible for your nominee paying the balance by the due date in full.

To cover this eventuality, we strongly recommend you take out Holiday Cancellation Insurance.
What happens if Your Adventure Life cancels the adventure ?

We reserve the right to cancel any adventure- however, this would only become necessary in exceptional circumstances.

In such an event, we would hope to offer you an alternative. If this were not possible or acceptable, we would issue a full refund of deposit and balance payments.
Adventure Changes
Arrangements for your adventure are made months in advance it is therefore inevitable that changes can occur. In most cases, these changes will be minor and will not affect your adventure .In the event of a major change, we will advise you immediately and you may then (a) continue the adventure with the new itinerary, (b) accept an alternative of the same or similar value.
Our Responsibilities

We accept responsibility for supplying as near as physically possible an adventure package as described on our website and introduction e-brochure. We are unable to control any deficiencies in services due to local conditions, maintenance, industrial dispute, or weather.
Documentation

Valid UK passport

Any Visa or Visa Waiver in place for the adventure destinations

Insurance cover for your bike for the adventure destinations - must include repatriation in the event of an accident or serious breakdown.

Personal Travel Insurance for yourself and pillion (if appropriate). This must include medical cover including any possible repatriation in the event of serious illness or accident. We also recommend you include cancellation cover.

Post Brexit you will require a ‘Green Card’ from your insurance company for European travel.
Your Obligations
Riders with Your Adventure Life are responsible for providing their own motorcycle and equipment and ensuring that this is suitable, roadworthy and in working order for the route and terrain. All Riders should be competent with the use of their own equipment.
Whilst on the Adventure, Riders shall:

To advise Your Adventure Life of any illness, infirmity, allergies, or dietary needs that may affect your touring holiday.

Be a competent rider with a machine that is road legal, mechanically sound and serviced of a type suitable for the adventure.

Hold a valid certificate of Insurance covering machine, rider, and pillion (if applicable)

The ability to get yourself and/or bike home in the event of a breakdown, accident, or emergency specifically to each adventure.

Comply with all reasonable instructions and directions issued by Us.

Conduct themselves in an appropriate manner.

Take out and maintain applicable adequate insurance to cover participation and equipment.

Not cause or permit any damage to any venue or location.

Wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

Be responsible for the condition and maintenance of their own motorcycle.

Be responsible for ensuring their own motorcycle is left securely overnight or when unattended.
-
Be responsible for their own health and safety and have due regard for that of others.
-
Be responsible for the payment of all personal expenses incurred.

Riders are always expected you to ride safely, and to be responsible individually for complying with the prevailing speed limits, road signs and rules of the road etc. for the location.
Our Obligations

Adventures with Your Adventure Life are led by a Leader who has responsibility for overseeing the well-being and competency of participants as well as overall safety of the group.

All Riders are expected to follow reasonable instructions given by the Leader. Decisions given by the Leader shall be final and binding.

We will endeavour to ensure that all Riders on the adventure remain together and arrive each day at the destination. We cannot be responsible for the individual actions of riders on the adventure.

If a rider is asked to leave the adventure, we shall not be liable for any losses or costs and there is no right to a refund for any portion of the Adventure.

Riders shall solely be responsible for their return home in such circumstances.

We shall not be responsible for any belongings/possessions whilst Riders are on the adventure.
Routes and Itinerary
The routes chosen by Your Adventure Life are intended to offer an immersive experience and will be quite challenging.
Your Adventure Life reserves the right to determine the itinerary of an adventure and the routes to be taken. Any published details of routes shall be subject to change at any time and without notice. All timings given shall be approximate. YourAdventure Life shall not be liable for any loss to riders howsoever caused by any delays or changes to the timings for an adventure.
Riders accept that all timings may be affected by unforeseen events and that delays may occur at any time during the adventure. Force majeure may prevent Your Adventure Life from providing the adventure as described and Your Adventure Life shall have no liability in such circumstances.
Fitness (Trail Adventures)
It is an essential requirement that Participants on an adventure are adequately fit to ride the distances set out in the adventure’s itinerary. We will explain the fitness requirements for participation on an adventure at the booking/interview stage and we reserve the right to reject an application if we have any concerns about a participant’s level of fitness or health.
In the course of an adventure, the adventure Leader will address any concerns about fitness and health and reserves the right to ask a participant to leave the adventure at any time if there are reasonable safety concerns to their continued participation.
If a rider is not fit to ride on any morning of the adventure, the leader may make the decision to leave them at the hotel and they will have the option to make their own way to the next hotel by road when they are fit enough to do so. A rider will only be permitted to progress on the adventure trails if the leader determines that they are fit enough to continue.
Passport
It is the responsibility of the individual Rider to ensure that they check and hold the relevant passport and visa for entry to the country for the Adventure, as applicable. Your Adventure Life shall not be responsible for anyone who does have the right documentation to enter the destination country or who does not meet any required criteria in respect of their passport, visa, health, or immigration status. It is recommended that you check if any health requirements apply to the destination prior to travel.
You are responsible for making yourself aware of Foreign Office advice regarding the safety of the countries and areas in which you will be travelling and to make your decisions accordingly. Advice from the Foreign Office to avoid or leave a country may constitute Force Majeure.
DATA PROTECTION
Your Adventure Life acts as a Data Controller in relation to services supplied under these Terms and Conditions.
Under data protection legislation, data subjects have the right to access any data personal data kept by Adventure Life through a Subject Access Request (SAR). If you wish to invoke this right, you should email info@youradventurelife.com
As permitted under data protection legislation we will store personal data only for as long as necessary and for legitimate purposes. We do not pass personal data to any third parties except where lawfully permitted. Personal data is not sold to any third party.
We retain the right to respond to legal requests, as necessary.
Accuracy and Prices
We endeavour to ensure that all the information and prices both on our website and in any advertising material that we publish are accurate, however, occasionally changes and errors occur and we reserve the right to correct prices and other details in such circumstances. You are advised to check the current price and all other details before you make a booking.
We reserve the right to amend advertised prices at any time. We also reserve the right to correct errors in both advertised and confirmed prices.
Changes to the Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions may be modified by agreement in writing between both parties.
Complaints
If a rider has a complaint whilst participating on an adventure, the matter should firstly be raised with the adventure leader who may take remedial action where possible. Any complaint after the end of an Adventure should be raised with the Operations Director directly and followed up in writing, within 30 days of the end date, to:

Limitation of Liability
Your Adventure Life takes all reasonable care in the services provided under this agreement but shall not be liable for any loss or pay compensation for any injury, illness, death, damage, expense, cost or other claim where it results from an act or omission by the affected party, or an act or omission by a third party which is not connected to the services provided by Your Adventure Life and which were unforeseeable or unavoidable.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or restrict liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraudulent misrepresentation and/or any other liability which shall not be excluded or limited by law.
You agree to indemnify us for all losses suffered by us because of your behaviour, actions, or failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to a Rider’s motorcycle because of your participation on the Adventure.
No Waiver
No failure or delay by Your Adventure Life in exercising any rights shall be deemed to be a waiver of that right, and no waiver of a breach of any provision of the Terms and Conditions shall be deemed to be a waiver of any subsequent breach of the same or any other provision.
Force Majeure
Your Adventure Life shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing the obligations under these Terms and Conditions where such failure or delay results from any because that is beyond our reasonable control. Such causes include, but are not limited to power failure, internet service provider failure, industrial action, civil unrest, fire, flood, storms, earthquakes, acts of terrorism, acts of war, or governmental action.
Entire Agreement
You accept that you shall not rely on any representation, warranty, or other provision except as expressly provided in these Terms and Conditions. All conditions, warranties or other terms implied by statute or common law are excluded as fully permitted by law.
Serverability
Each of these conditions is separate from all other conditions, so that if one condition is found to be void or otherwise unenforceable it will not affect the validity of any of the others.
Third parties
No part of these Terms and Conditions shall confer rights on any third parties and accordingly the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 shall not apply.
Notices
Notices sent by e-mail will be deemed to have been received twenty-four hours after sending. We can be contracted by email to info@youradventurelife.com
Jurisdriction and Governing law
These Terms & Conditions and all disputes, whether contractual or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with them are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England and each party submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
